At the core of the SAT® for Athletes are five tests that every athlete takes regardless of sport and gender to measure power, speed and agility, the foundations of athletic performance.

  • 40-yd Dash (with 10-yd and 20-yd splits)

  • 5-10-5 (Pro Agility Shuttle)

  • Reactive Agility Shuttle

  • Broad Jump

  • Vertical Jump

In addition to these core tests, individual sports can include other tests specific to skills in that sport or position. 

THE SAT® FOR ATHLETES

STANDARD ATHLETIC TEST

Comparable to the Scholastic Aptitude Test (a.k.a.: the SAT), the Standard Athletic TestTM is a tool that provides individual objective athlete comparison. 

 

Colleges use the results from the Scholastic Aptitude Test as a tool to objectively compare many prospective students.  Coaches and Scouts use the results of Standardized Athlete Testing to compare athletes

 The words “It’s On You” not only instructs the athlete to begin the test; it is a constant reminder to the athlete that their measured performance results of the standardized test are their individual results;

not their teams.
